- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hampden Park International England 3 - Scotland 2. DESCRIPTION: General Montgomery was present to see the Soccer International between England and Scotland. The victory went to England by three goals to two. SHOTLIST: Various shots of crowds at Hampden Park Stadium. General Montgomery introduced to the teams. Kick off. Caskie (Scotland) runs up wing with ball & scores, pan to crowds cheering etc. Elevated shot of play, ground shot shows ball in net scored by Lawton (England). More play & Lawton scores again. Carter then scores for England, cut-ins of crowds cheering etc. Monty takes salute at marchpast of troops during interval, SV of Monty saluting Crowds, pan up to Royal Box shows Monty watching game. Finishing on ball going into England’s goal. (Stated in press to have come off of Cullis’s head - you cannot however see this in the film). Crowds cheer.
