MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Control of the Pacific. DESCRIPTION: The war in the Pacific is mainly between planes and ships, it is in this theatre of war that the aircraft carrier has been most important. SHOTLIST: Cut story - GV (KS) of flak above the sea, also sea machine gunned. Jap plane banks above aircraft carrier. Shot of AA guns on carrier manned, all firing at the one plane, which eventually crashes into the sea. Various shots of Jap planes attacking aircraft carriers, & being shot into the water, finishing on one crashing into the sea.
