DESCRIPTION: The occupation of Strasbourg enables the Americans to concentrate artillery fire on the German town of Kehl just across the Rhine. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Various shots of enemy-held bank of the Rhine at ?. LS of shell bursts on opposite bank, explosions also in river & near wrecked bridges. CU British soldier looking through periscope from building. Various shots of Americans firing medium artillery, also mortars, & shots of shells bursting on targets. The towns being Strasbourg & Kehl.
