MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rundstedt’s Push. DESCRIPTION: Film captured from a German cameraman shows the German counter-offensive on the Western Front. By the time these pictures were received in London the news was better although it was too early to say that Rundstedt had been defeated. SHOTLIST: Cut story - German troops (infantry) advance along roads & through woods, passing burning American vehicles, jeeps, transport etc., German mobile guns firing at American lines from open field. Groups of German soldiers smoking captured US cigarettes, cigars, also chewing gum. Royal Tiger tanks move along road & over fields. German infantry follow. Destroyed 7.5 American anti-tank gun. The CO Sturmbannfuhrer Knittel, walks along road with another officer unnamed. This is German material captured on the field, being shot by a German newsreel cameraman.
