MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Stody Fete - Special - VJ Fete. SHOTLIST: GV Mr and Mrs George Knight welcome Lord and Lady Cousins-Hardy. MS Lord Cousins-Hardy making speech & CU. GV & MCU Mrs Knight declaring fete open. CU Christine Harvey with large bouquet. GV Christine presents bouquet to Mrs Knight. GV girl tries to ride wooden horse but it rolls and she falls off. Another girl having a go and falling off. GV pan across fete people wearing raincoats. Pan across people seated at Refreshments. Pan across fete. CU young girl. CU woman. CU young girl. MS group of men in centre father holding baby. MS mother & teenager sons. MS men eating cockles. MS young girl dressed as Queen Elizabeth I seated between to fruit machines. MS Mrs Knight auctioning a silver fruit bowl which has been donated by Lady Mountbatten. TS pan across crowd at auction. GV auction. MS Mr Knight turns raffle drum and then a Sergeant in the RMAC draws ticket. TS raffle as boy draws ticket. Pan across crowd applauding. Good for fashion and VJ Celebration.
