- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The "Change-Over". DESCRIPTION: The change over from war to peace production has begun. In America materials like flexiglass, perspex and so on are already finding their way into homes. At a Mosquito Factory in Walthamstow they are switching from planes to making utility furniture. SHOTLIST: KS CU plexiglass hassock. Interior - new plastic boudoir, sleeping department sectioned off by plexiglass, transparent. Girl lying on divan. Walks over to plastic wardrobe and takes out a plastic hat, which she tries on. CU girl with plexiglass hat on her head. The above is in America, meanwhile in England, at the Mosquito factory, Walthamstow, Mosquito planes still being turned out, various parts of planes, other sections, jigs etc. being dumped on rubbish heap. Craftsmen making utility furniture, wardrobes, planing, sawing wood etc., all done by machinery. Whisky on quayside, stacked in cases, cases being slung aboard ship.
