MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bevin Addresses UNO. DESCRIPTION: The main event of the day at the United Nations was the speech by Britain’s Foreign Secretary, Mr Bevin. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS CU UNO emblem. MS Bevin talking to Byrnes at United Kingdom desk. LS Bevin walks to rostrum, audience applaud. MS Bevin addressing meeting. Main points being: "Handing over Transjordan to UNO, also about out soldiers being in action one in every three days". SCU & CU of him during speech. Bevin finally pledges our full support to the UNO. Leaves rostrum, amid applause.
