MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sir Ben Smith on Food. DESCRIPTION: Sir Ben Smith talks on the World food shortage. Housewives who have to queue for less food are not happy with the situation. SHOTLIST: KS MS Sir Ben Smith starts "I am a man of the people, you all know about the food situation today, etc. etc." Interior of food shop with packets of dried egg stacked on counter. Outside shops queues (x2). Mrs Roberts stands at oven stirring and says "the other day I read in the paper that we were going to get more food, now we seem to get less than during the war."
