MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rugby - England 12 V Scotland 8. DESCRIPTION: England score a surprise win over Scotland at Twickenham, the final score being 12 points to 8. SHOTLIST: KS Teams coming out. Elevated shot of play, mostly in England’s half. England (all white), Scotland (blue jerseys). CR Bruce breaks through makes run, passes to JRS Innes, who dives over line to score a corner. Geddes fails to convert, shooting out of camera. Throw-ins and various shots of play, WID Elliot kicks ahead and Bruce gathers ball up and scores a try. Geddes converts. English team sucking fruit, presumably lemons, cut-ins of crowds. Scoreboard at Scotland 8, England 0. Second half - Various shots of play, J Heaton takes kick (penalty) and scores. Scoreboard Scotland 8, England 3. Heaton makes a great run to score a try, by RSL Carr to whom Heaton had passed the ball. Heaton converts. Scoreboard 8 - 8. Crowds very enthusiastic, cheering etc. Elevated shot of struggle, EK Scott grabs ball and scores a drop goal, cut-in crowds cheering etc. Scoreboard England 12 Scotland 8. Elevated shot of game before end of game. Cut-in SCU of small group of enthusiasts.
