- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: France Beat England 2 - 1 Soccer. DESCRIPTION: At the Colombes Stadium, Paris, England lose to France by two goals to one. SHOTLIST: KS Elevated shot of teams paraded on ground. England kick off, various shots of England attacking. French player, Ben Barek (Moroccan), inside left in play. Stanley Matthews dribbling with the ball (No 7). H Carter (No 8) attacking French goal, several good saves by French goalie. Crowd shot - half time. France attacking, Prouff scores their first goal. Again attacking, Vaast scores from a rebound. J Hagan runs up field with ball, ball in French goal. Scoreboard 2-1. Various cut-ins of cheering crowds.
