MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Test Match in Rain. DESCRIPTION: Rain again interrupted the Test Match between England and India and the game was drawn. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV and pan covers over wicket. Poster displays England v India. CU rain falling into puddle. Queues outside ground, crowd round gates. Groundsmen mop up rain with sacking, placing same over puddles. Elevated shot of play. Gover bowling. Peter Smith bowls to Merchant, who punishes his bowling very badly. Several shots of Merchant batting. Pan of small crowd. Scoreboard 331 all out. GV gasometer empty.
