MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: India’s Interim Government. DESCRIPTION: In New Delhi Pandit Nehru presided over the first meeting of the All-Indian Cabinet. SHOTLIST: KS Street scenes of New Delhi. Pan of the new government with Pandit Nehru in centre. Government was received by Lord Wavell at the Viceroy’s House. Cheering crowds. Interiors of a Cabinet meeting and shots of Nehru speaking. Crowds cheering, waving flags etc. and rushing forward Nehru and colleagues on balcony of the Viceroy’s house and more crowd shots.
