Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Airborne Beaten By Souverain in King George VI Stakes. DESCRIPTION: Souverain beats Airborne into second place for the first time since 1939. SHOTLIST: KS Elevated shot of crowds at Ascot. Various shots of grandstand, runners board. Elevated shot of paddock, parade, parade along course. Airborne leads parade, followed by Souverain prancing around. Just before start, the start, panning along course as they race past grandstand, first time round, cut-ins of crowd (small) watching. Elevated panning (swing shot) of horses racing along back stretch. Airborne moving up. Shot from grandstand, horses coming into the straight, panning, Souverain takes the lead, out of camera, Souverain coming into camera, passes winning post. Elevated shots of Souverain in unsaddling enclosure, still prancing around.
