Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: French Fight Viet-Nain in Hanoi. DESCRIPTION: Conflict in French Indo-China is illustrated by the fighting taking place near Hanoi. SHOTLIST: KS MS French officers, dressed in American uniforms looking at map. French troops marching through burning villages, straw houses burning, in fact every building is burning, tanks firing from side of road. French troops fighting in streets, firing machine guns, jeeps along road, firing at bushes, man falls out dead. Three women walk along road into camera, can hardly hold themselves up. Prisoners being interrogated by French officers, also interrogating an eight year old boy, giving him biscuits.
