- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hindus Celebrate Ganges Festival. DESCRIPTION: At Allahabad a great Hindu Festival where millions of pilgrims make their way to the Ganges. SHOTLIST: KS CU water, river. Procession of elephants enter Ganges area. Yakkas and gharries en route to Ganges, other, hundreds of them on foot, all making for the same destination. SCU elephants sitting on ground. Along roads leading to river, are beggars, snake charmers, saints, idols, various Hindu sects, also shot of the Hindu sect banners flying. Various shots of peoples bathing in waters. Shots of craft on river, with occupants dropping money and flowers into water. MS holy cow aboard one of the craft. Pan of peoples bathing in water. GV pan of festival in full swing.
