MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fire Aboard John Ericsson. DESCRIPTION: It took four hours for New York firemen to control the fire aboard the liner John Ericsson. SHOTLIST: KS GV ship afire. Various shots taken onboard ship’s deck, firemen fighting the smoke, fire floats alongside ship playing water on same. Water running from everywhere over ship. Firemen paddle in same. Aerial shots of ship burning (smoking) and pan to next berth shows SS Queen Elizabeth at quay.
