MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Amritsar’s Ruins. DESCRIPTION: The city of Amritsar has suffered in the riots which have taken place between Hindus/Sikhs and Muslims. SHOTLIST: GV of ruined houses etc. GVs of ruined houses, temples, ruins smouldering etc. natives make their way through wrecked streets, lamp posts down, wires about the streets, streets flooded. Shots of partly burnt out temples. Native pours water on smouldering ruins from tin can.
