MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: England V Scotland. DESCRIPTION: The International Match at Wembley was a tough match for England, they were lucky to hold Scotland to a draw. SHOTLIST: GV spectators arriving. MS toss up with Captains Shaw & Hardwick with Referee Monsieur de la Salle of France. LS kick off. Sequence play. LS Scotland pass from Pearson to MacLaren beat English goalie Swift. GV crowd cheering. 2 shots of Clement Attlee watching (smoking pipe) between Presidents of the two FA’s. Several shots of play. LS Carter scores equaliser for England. 2nd half GV incident where Carter gets ball, hesitates and misses scoring. MS Scottish fan led off by policeman.
