MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Children Emigrate to Australia. DESCRIPTION: A number of young emigrants say why they would like to live in Australia. SHOTLIST: KS Mr Calwell amid children. Youths file down from staircase outside building to ground. CU types saying why they want to go back to Australia. CU first boy says I want to go back to my girlfriend. CU second boy I am very fond of sport and in Australia they play much sport etc. CU third boy On the whole I think I stand a much better chance in Australia etc. CU fourth boy I like Australia better because of the wide open spaces etc. MS & CU Mr Calwell. Mr Calwell addresses the youths saying At least 70,000 persons are needed per year in Commonwealth. CU girl named Sally shaking hands with Mr Calwell (hand only showing).
