MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Monty in Paris. DESCRIPTION: Field Marshal Lord Montgomery received a warm welcome from the citizens of Paris. After laying a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior he walked down the Champs Elysees. SHOTLIST: KS GV groups in grounds of Elysee Palace. Various shots including SCU of Monty with Auriol in above grounds, also with other VIPs. Monty inspects Colonial Troops - Spahis. At Unknown Warriors Tomb, Monty lays wreath on same. MS of him saluting. Monty walks along Champs Elysees, cut-ins of crowds cheering.
