MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Clonard Confraternity Jubilee. DESCRIPTION: A Catholic Parade in Belfast en fete for it’s Golden Jubilee SHOTLIST: KS Elevated GV of streets of Belfast gaily decorated. Various streets with people forming up to march to Beachmount (open field). GV Clonard Church with crowds gathering outside. Procession of people walking through streets towards Beachmount. GV Beachmount, people entering same, including choir boys. Dr D’Alton, Archbishop of Armagh, arrives wearing mitre. Mounts steps leading to temporary altar. GV of him facing congregation (gathering), with altar in background to finish.
