- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Russian Tinned Fish for Britain. DESCRIPTION: The Russians recently arrived at Liverpool with a cargo of 60 thousand cases of salmon and 25 thousand of crab. SHOTLIST: KS GV ship in docks. SCU bows of ship shows name Sarpedon. Various shots looking down hold, shows unloading of fish cargo in cases in progress. Cases of fish in warehouse. Mr and Mrs Strachey inspect the consignment. Shots of Strachey (Minister of Food) sampling one of the tins of fish. Cases naturally have Russian markings. Cut-in of Russian flag flying at masthead. Strachey goes aboard ship.
