- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: FA Cup 3rd Round - Charlton V Newcastle. DESCRIPTION: CHARLTON V NEWCASTLE UNITED - At the Valley Ground Cup Holder’s Charlton took on Newcastle. SHOTLIST: KS Fans walk round edge of pitch waving flags, twisting rattles, all in their own clubs colours. Supporters shake hands with captains at toss up. Elevated Charlton kick off. General play, Robinson (No 7) dribbling play in Newcastle’s goalmouth, Fairbrother makes few saves. Charlton attack, No 7 dives over heads of others and head ball into Newcastle’s net. Crowds cheering. MS Shackleton (No 10) Newcastle, dribbling with ball. Various angle shots of Sam Bartram, makes excellent saves, pushing ball out into play. Charlie Revell takes free kick and ball just rolls into goal. Crowd cheer. Newcastle attack hard. Pearson takes a penalty and shoots wide. Crowds cheering. Early in game McCrea (No 10) Charlton dribbling with ball, shoot straight at Fairbrother.
