MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Boxing - England’s 7-1 Win Over Scotland - Golden Gloves. DESCRIPTION: ENGLAND’S 7 - 1 WIN - England defeat Scotland in the Amateur Boxing Tournament at Wembley. GOLDEN GLOVES - In the Golden Gloves Tournament, New York James Lilley fought himself to a standstill. SHOTLIST: KS MS England’s team in ring. GV both teams in ring shaking hands. (This is Empire Pool, Wembley). Several shots of featherweight fight, Brander v Phillips. Several shots of Brander punishing with his left. Cut-in newspaper reporters watching fight. MS Morkus v Stevenson (heavyweight). Stevenson knocked to canvas several times. SLIP PAN in Brooklyn several shots of James Lilley v Henry Mazzatesks, lazy boxing, both given the impression too tired to box.
