MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: FA Cup - Sixth Round. DESCRIPTION: FAVOURITES REACH SEMI-FINAL - Manchester United defeat Preston North End by four goals to one. SPURS’ 1-0 VICTORY AT SOUTHAMPTON - There was no score until the 75th minute in this semi-final. SHOTLIST: MANCHESTER UNITED V PRESTON NORTH END. KS Manchester team run into field. Toss up. Crowd shots. Elevated shot Preston attacking. Ground shot Mitten scores Manchester United’s first goal. General play, cut-ins of cheering crowds. Pearson scores 2nd goal for Manchester United. Crowds. Preston attack and Finney passes to McIntosh who scores, ball towards camera. Crowds. Pearson scores another ball towards net, he helps it on. (79 seconds). SOUTHAMPTON V TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR. Various shots of both teams supporters, some dressed up. Spurs supporters in centre of field. GV kick off, several general shots of play, Spurs attack, Southampton goalie saving. Crowds cheering. Play around Southampton goal, ball going into net (camera turned on late). Few spectators on pitch hug Bennett, the scorer. Spurs supporters walk round edge of pitch at end of match.
