MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: FA Cup - Semi Finals. Manchester United V Derby County & Spurs V Blackpool. DESCRIPTION: MANCHESTER UNITED FOR WEMBLEY - At Sheffield Manchester United defeat Derby to win a place in the Cup Final. BLACKPOOL REACH THE FINAL - At Villa Park Blackpool defeat Spurs in extra time. SHOTLIST: KS Manchester United team run onto field, into camera. GV crowds, supporters etc. Elevated kick-off and play. GV Derby attack, play around Derby goal and Pearson heads ball into net. Crowds cheering. General play and Manchester United, Pearson again heads ball into net for second goal. GV cheering crowds. Derby attack, Steel gets ball, dribbles through and scores with straight kick. Cheering crowds. GV of play and Stanley Pearson scores Manchester United’s third goal. TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR V BLACKPOOL. KS GV crowds with Royal Marine Band on field playing (silent). Various teams supporters in fancy dress, parade round field (5 scenes). LS kick off and elevated play, Blackpool attack. LS Spurs take free kick and score for Spurs. Crowds cheering. General play and Mortensen scores equaliser. Elevated shot of Stan Mortensen attacks and scores (x2). Crowds surge onto pitch after game. Various shots of throw ins and crowds cheering etc.
