- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Queen at Gateshead - Special. DESCRIPTION: The Queen received an enthusiastic welcome on Newcastle. At Gateshead she opened the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and toured its up to date facilities. SHOTLIST: KS GV Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Queen walks out of Newcastle upon Tyne Railway Station, presented with bouquet from small child. Drives through the streets, cut-ins of children with Union Jacks waving etc. Interior - at Woodland Crescent Nursery, Queen is presented with another bouquet of flowers from very small child. SCU Queen bending over talking (silent) to small child. Elevated shot of Royal procession passing over Tyne Bridge. Royal car stops, SCU Queen leaning out, shakes hands with Mayor of Gateshead, cut-in back view of Queen conversing with Mayor. Royal procession out of camera, towards Queen Elizabeth Hospital in background. Interior - Queen talks (silent) with patients, various shots. People cheering (silent) as Queen passes.
