MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: America’s Aid for Europe’s Children. DESCRIPTION: A parade in New York was staged for the American Oversea’s Aid and United Nations Appeal for Children. SHOTLIST: KS GV crowds in streets. Elevated shot of pennies etc. being dropped into large banner held out by children. SCU coppers falling to same. Various shots of decorated vehicles in procession through streets. MS procession with buildings in background. Kid picks up a coin which has dropped in street. MS Spyros Skouras addresses (silent) crowds on aid to Europe’s children.
