MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royalty Honours Hamlet Premiere. DESCRIPTION: Their Majesties Princess Elizabeth and Margaret and the Duke of Edinburgh attended the premiere of Sir Laurence Olivier’s ‘Hamlet’. SHOTLIST: KS Crowds outside Odeon. MS Shakespeare’s statue in square. MS ditto panning to GV of Odeon Cinema. Interior - Foyer Mr and Mrs Strachey pose for camera. Mr and Mrs Herbert Morrison ditto. GV foyer, in background can be seen Ernest Bevin. Aneurin Bevan and Jennie Lee arrive. Royal Family in foyer.
