MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: British Legion on Parade. DESCRIPTION: The British Legion’s annual service and parade took place at the Cenotaph and was followed by a march past on Horse Guards Parade. SHOTLIST: KS Elevated British Legion assembled around Cenotaph, choir singing. Panning shot of crowds, British Legion tilt up Cenotaph during singing of the hymn O God our help in Ages past. Sir Ian Fraser lays wreath on Cenotaph. Several shots of British Legion in marchpast on Horse Guards Parade, in background can be seen Duke of Gloucester taking the salute. British Legion nearly all carrying flags, banners, etc. into camera.
