MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sandhurst Passing Out Parade. DESCRIPTION: The King attends the Passing Out Parade and the Royal Military College, Sandhurst. SHOTLIST: KS Corporal precedes the King passing through the ranks inspecting. King alights from car, shakes hands with Mr Shinwell. GV officer cadets paraded. GV parade with officer on horseback shouting present arms. GV of parade presenting arms. Cut-in King saluting. MS parade marching. Pan to rear of parade, shows Regimental Sargeant Major Brand following in the rear. Sword of Honour presented to best cadet. RSM Brand receives the MVO medal on retirement. SCU of him saluting & King pins medal on his chest. Brand salutes smartly, turns and marches off. Cadets to music of ‘Auld Lang Syne’ slow march up steps into college, followed by officer on horse back.
