MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Olympics - More Finals. DESCRIPTION: The cycling from Herne Hill and the weight lifting at Olympia. The Steeplechase section of the Three Day Event at Aldershot. India defeat Great Britain in the Hockey Final at Wembley. SHOTLIST: KS CU flame burning. Herne Hill - Crowds applaud. Harris & Bannister (GB) cycle round track in tandem semi final. Start of 2,000 metres tandem final, Great Britain v Italy both start at slow speed. Both sprinting panning. Henley - SV start 10,000m Canadian canoe pairs out of camera & down river. Elevated shot of winners US team. MS US team at quay. Earls Court - Korean weight lifter tries and fails. Withdraws & bows. Weights being fixed to bar. CU Briton lifting & succeeding. Cut-in fixing weights. MS Korean again lifting - snatch lifting drops it - bows & withdraws. American Stanczyk lifts 286_ lbs, applause. Aldershot - Several shots of steeplechase in progress - section of Three Day Event, one horse at a time. Some horses refuse jumps. LS jump at top of hill. Rider thrown at top of hill, horse has forelegs over jumps. Cut-in spectator horses & riders looking on. Shots of horse cantering to finishing line. Wembley Stadium - Hockey final India v GB. Indian team onto field. Philip Noel-Baker introduced to same. MS bully off & general play. Indians scoring two goals. Cut-ins crowds applauding to finish.
