MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Braemar Gathering. DESCRIPTION: The King and Queen were accompanied by the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra when they attended the Braemar Gathering. SHOTLIST: KS MS dancing the Highland Reel. GV pan of crowds. Entry of pipers. Royal car arrives, stops in front of Royal stand. King & Queen in Highland dress, received by Marquess of Aberdeen and Lady Aberdeen. Standing beside car, Duke of Kent and sister Princess Alexandra. Several shots of hammer throwing. Cut-in Royal stand, shows all the above. Several shots of tossing the caber, one fails, another succeeds.
