MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Crowds Mourn Tommy Handley. DESCRIPTION: Huge crowds watch the funeral cortege of Tommy Handley on its way to Golders Green Crematorium. Large crowds outside the Chapel listened to the service which was broadcast. SHOTLIST: KS Crowds outside Chapel. Funeral cortege makes its way through thick crowds of London streets to Golders Green Crematorium. Alights from cars, Ted Kavanagh (writer), Ronald Frankau, Jack Hylton, Sam Costa, Fred Yule, Jack Warner, Paula Green. Charles Shadwell and Lind Joyce walk into chapel grounds. SCU of the last three. Crowds outside as cortege turns into chapel. Various shots of crowds outside chapel listening to the broadcasted service. GV chapel & crowds over which was being sung O God our help in Ages Past.
