MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Eight Million Pound Gift. DESCRIPTION: At the Treasury, Mr Beasley presents to Sir Stafford Cripps a cheque for £8,000,000 from Australia. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS MS & tilt down of the Treasury building (very good). Car draws up outside, Mr Beasley (Australian High Commissioner) gets out & enters the Treasury. Interior - Beasley presents cheque to Sir Stafford Cripps, cut-in of £8,000,000 cheque. Cripps says a few words. CU hands shaking (could be anybodies hands). CU Sir Stafford laughing.
