MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Parachute Brake for Jet Bomber. DESCRIPTION: At Moses Lake, Washington, a parachute is used as brake on a new jet bomber. SHOTLIST: KS Fixing rocket to fuselage of planes. SCU of same. SCU fuselage closing around the rockets (automatic). LS take off XB-47 bomber, assisted by rockets, jets etc. Aerials of bomber in flight. Bomber lands, with parachute flying from rear of fuselage. Shot taken from inside plane of parachute flying in the rear.
