- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Round-The-World Flight. DESCRIPTION: From Fort Worth, Texas, an American Superfortress took off to fly round the world non-stop. It re-fuelled in mid-air, the trip taking 94 hours. SHOTLIST: KS Superfort taxies across aerodrome. Crew of plane lined up on runway. Captain, in close up dismisses crew. SCU engines turning over. B50 Superfort taxies & takes off. Fade to map of globe. Lines indicate route taken round the world. Aerial shot Superfort in flight. Another plane drops petrol line to same. Refuelling in mid-air. Map cut-in. Plane touches down at Fort Worth into camera. Taxies & crew receive congratulations.
