Summary
The Allies liberate Southern Italy. Peasants, who have been driven from their homes, are helped by the British soldiers to return. Difficulty in tank movement. Italian former Commandant explains to Royal Engineers the places where Germans have left booby traps and mines. British artillery in action on the drive to Naples. Allied armies fight way towards Rome. Under the protection of the navy and air force supplies - food, ammunition, guns etc, pour ashore.
