- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: FA Cup Semi-Finals. DESCRIPTION: WOLVES & MANCHESTER UNITED FIGHT A DRAW - At Sheffield, Wolves playing with only nine men for the majority of the game held Manchester United to a draw. LEICESTER CITY’S FIRST FINAL - At Highbury, Leicester City, a second division team beat Portsmouth by three goals to nil, thus going through to Wembley for the first time. SHOTLIST: MANCHESTER UNITED V WOLVERHAMPTON - Hillsborough, Sheffield - KS Crowd shot. Mr & Mrs Nicholls (Pools winner) alight from coach, both stand in queue outside ground. Standing inside stadium. Various crowd shots. GV kick off. Goal being scored by both sides. Smyth scores 1st goal for Wolves and Mitten scores for Manchester United. Cut-ins crowds cheering & clapping. Injured Wolves player Kelly being carried off field. (77 seconds.). PORTSMOUTH V LEICESTER CITY - Highbury - Crowd shots, with banners etc. Leicester run onto field. Cut-in Monty leans over rail watching teams run on. Portsmouth run onto field. Elevated GV kick off. Various shots of play. Griffiths to Lee to Don Revie who scores for Leicester. Harris scores for Portsmouth. Chisholm scores 2nd for Leicester and Revie scores 3rd.
