Teams walk onto pitch. Crowds. Duke of Edinburgh meets teams, Billy Wright leads out England team and presents them to Duke. Crowds wave & cheer. MS Royal Box, Princess Elizabeth & Duke watch the game. Elevated GV kick off. MS Cowan, Scottish goalie, makes several saves. Waddell dribbling. Cox kicks ball away from goal, he is standing on goal line. Scotland score, ball going in off goalpost - Mason scored. Crowds cheer. Scotland attack, Houliston warned by referee (Mr Griffiths) after kicking Swift. Crowds booing. Cut-in Royal Box. Elevated GV of play. Steel scores Scotland’s second goal. Waddell centres from wing to Reilly in centre who heads ball into net. Stanley Matthews dribbling. England attack hard. Stan Mortensen kicks ball at goal, deflected into net by Jackie Milburn. Crowds cheer. Crowds mob Scottish team including Cowan, their goalkeeper.
