Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Visit to Ulster (Mute). DESCRIPTION: During their visit the Royal couple went to Short’s Aircraft factory and the Agricultural Show. SHOTLIST: KS. Belfast City Hall. Elevated GV crowds, arrival of Royal car, Princess alight & Duke, greeted by Lord Alanbrooke [sic]. Led into City Hall. Royal couple out of car. GV interior of aircraft hangar at Short and Harland Seaplane works. Princess launches new flying boat, RMA "Aotearoa II". Driving through crowded streets of cheering people. Looking through weaving shops, stopping & talking to operators. At the Agricultural Show, inspect cattle all types, watch the jumping competitions. Leaving, Royal car drives away to finish.
