Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sunday Rail Strike. DESCRIPTION: Scenes of deserted railways on Whit Sunday. One of the drivers gives his opinion of the strike. SHOTLIST: KS. GV deserted railway tracks. Ditto. Loco sheds, many engines with steam up. Elevated GV deserted King’s Cross Station. Notices displayed notifying passengers of strike. MS train leaves station (passenger train). SCU driver who is against the strike speaks for Movietone, airing his views. Interior of hostel at Kentish Town. MS general rest room. MS beds, also person pushing his hand on mattress to show they have plenty of spring.
