- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hong Kong Welcomes Amethyst. DESCRIPTION: Movietone has pleasure in presenting the first pictures of the arrival of the sloop HMS Amethyst at Hong Kong. Her escape down the Yangtze has now past into Naval legend. The Far East Fleet joined in the welcome and the Governor, Sir Alexander Grantham, went aboard to offer his congratulations. SHOTLIST: KS.
