He also visited the 43rd United States Bombardment Group at Marham. SHOTLIST: KS. Flying Fortress taxies on ground (at Horsham). Attlee alights from plane, greeted. Inspects guard of honour. Inspects Meteor Jet, takes close look at engine. Looks at cockpit of Meteor. At Marham, US guard of honour in foreground with Lincoln taxiing in background. Attlee shakes hands with officer, Major-General Johnson (commander US 3rd Division). Latest flying kit demonstrated to Attlee. Inspects rubber dinghy. Attlee seated in pilot’s seat of Superfortress.
