MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: World Trade Unions Get Together. DESCRIPTION: At London’s County Hall, two hundred and fifty delegates from forty countries have met to form a non-communist Trade Union. The four British delegates were Sir William Lawther, Mr Lincoln Evans, Mr Tom O’Brien and Mr Arthur Deakin. SHOTLIST: KS. County Hall seen across river. Delegates arrive at County Hall. Group - Will Lawther, Lincoln Evans, T O’Brien & Arthur Deakin. Interior - GV assembly. Bullock addresses delegates. Cut-in of interpreters translating, all at the same time.
