DESCRIPTION: BRITISH COLUMBIA FLOODS - Severe flooding, following heavy rains in British Columbia, have almost isolated the town of Squamish and damaged property to the tune of millions of dollars. FEATHERWEIGHT BRIDGE - In Quebec Province, they’ve been building the first Aluminium Bridge to be erected in this part of the world. SKYROCKET PLANE - In California, the American Navy’s largest plane is contrasted with its fastest - the new Douglas Research Sky-Rocket. SHOTLIST: Cut story; KS. Newspapers & cameras. Sub KS. Aerial of floods of Squamish, BC Aerial of flooded town. Embankment wash away in many places. Bridges over Cheakamus River, partially washed away. Bailey Bridge wreaked over River Capilano.
