Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Germany Ends Rationing. DESCRIPTION: The end of rationing in Germany is well illustrated by scenes from Hanover, where they made - if not a song and dance about it - quite a demonstration. SHOTLIST: KS. Man sorting ration books. Several shots of ration books being put in sacks. Sacks being loaded onto cart. Men form up by cart, one holding a wreath, cart moves off, mock funeral procession begins. MS - several of pulp machine churning up the ration books as they are thrown into same. Cut-in horse neighing.
