DESCRIPTION: After referring to Korea during his address to the United Nations Assembly, Mr Bevin turned to the Soviet’s so-called peace campaign, he expressed abiding faith in the common sense and goodwill of ordinary people and before leaving the rostrum, he pledged Britain’s support of Mr Acheson’s plan for strengthening the United Nation against aggression.
