MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Paris Motor Show & Old Crocks Race. DESCRIPTION: At the Grand Palais in Paris, the 37th Salon de l’Automobile was opened by President Auriol. This French motor show, getting in ahead of our own, has nearly ninety makes of car on view. A few days after the opening, twenty-five ancient autos had a race from Versailles to Paris. SHOTLIST: GV of the show. Auriol looking around show. Cut-ins various types of cars exhibited. Lastly shot of Rolls Royce. Wipe. Old crocks race passing along Champs Elysees, various old cars passing. Cut-in of passenger in period dress. Old fire engine passes along. GV of cars with Arc de Triomphe in background.
