Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Wounded From Korea. DESCRIPTION: At Lyneham (an RAF station in Wiltshire) the first wounded to be flown back from Korea have arrived, men of the Middlesex and the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders - also four soldiers wounded in Malaya. Meanwhile, at an airport near London, a party of nine Chinese Communists arrived on their way to America for discussions on the Korean question. SHOTLIST: KS. Hastings taxies in (dusk). Ditto. Hastings taxies into hangar. MS wounded in bunks on plane, doors open. Luggage unloaded, includes bunch of bananas. Wounded on stretcher placed on motor transport to ambulance. Inside hospital, MS & CU Lt Peter MacKellar sitting up in bed & being interviewed. At London Airport. Czech Airlines plane taxies in. Chinese delegates off (night). Inside, delegates walk through immigration offices. Chinese Communist delegates seated in lounge. SCU & CU General Wu. MS two women delegates.
